In reply to Pippa. To be honest I'm not sure, you need the milk powder to help make it nice and creamy. It's not coconut milk powder though, just regular skimmed milk powder!

Hi, jm really loving this idea(knowing what’s gone into it etc) but I was wondering if you could substitute coconut milk powder for something different…..

I’ve tried to make oatmeal myself few times but it wasn’t so good as I expected. I’ll have to try using your recipe, hopefully it will be much better.

Clever. I have to admit, I don’t love powdered milk, but this would be handy to have ready for when I’m in a hurry.
