In reply to Marc Sager. I'm very surprised white rice didn't cook in 50 minutes!! Next time I would try adding a splash more liquid and letting it cook a bit longer, making sure you cover the pan as it bakes. You can also, of course, add additional spices if you like things a bit more spicy :)

Perhaps I should have tried Uncle Ben’s Minute Rice. I couldn’t get the rice to cook. I felt it was a bit lacking in the spice profile. I’m not saving this to our family favorites.
