They also add a drop of oil before you add the water and a nut of butter after when you fluff it up.

In France, they serve it in a tabbouleh instead of bulghur wheat. Or, of course, in the classic vegetable stew (usually, but not invariably, served with meat of some kind) with onions, courgettes, carrots, dried apricots and/or raisins, chickpeas and, most importantly, the hot sauce known as harissa! One of my regulars on the repertoire!5 stars
